Dupré Logistics LLC is currently seeking a Night Shift Inventory & Planning Manager in Lafayette, LA. This role supports our rapidly growing Energy Distribution Services business unit and plays a critical part in ensuring seamless inventory oversight and driver route execution in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Job Description
he Inventory & Planning Manager operates in a fast-paced environment at the core of our business unit’s operations. The primary responsibility of this role is to gather and analyze inventory management and key performance data to identify potential customer service issues, operational opportunities, and available driver capacity within the markets served. Using this insight, the you will develop and execute strategic plans that align with customer expectations, optimize resource utilization, and ensure compliance with both internal safety standards and FMCSA regulations governing driver hours.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain strong, positive customer relationships
• Monitor and manage inventory levels for all assigned customer locations
• Plan routes for drivers and monitor route plan execution
• Maintain a professional relationship with drivers and team members.
• Identification of issues, problem resolution and management notification
Schedule
• Night Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM (12 hour shift)
• Our Dispatchers work a 7 on - 7 off schedule

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of customer service experience (preferred)
• 2 years of college coursework in Business Management, Marketing, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience in customer service, operations, or industrial environments is a plus
• Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations is preferred
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask under pressure
• Self-motivated with strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with dispatch/planning software such as TMW (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
