LOGISTICS COORDINATOR | HOUSTON, TX 

Summary

Sentinel Transportation is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Houston, TX. This is a day shift position critical to the efficient management of our Bulk Truck transportation operations.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery of various commodities while maintaining strong relationships with our valued customers. Success in this position requires close collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including Sales, Transportation, Refining teams, and Customers..

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field, preferred.
• Two or more years working experience as a Dispatcher/Coordinator in the transportation industry.
• Previous experience in a hazardous materials/brokerage preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of FMCSA, DOT and other regulations related to the transportation of chemicals and petroleum products.
• Demonstrated knowledge of FHWA/HM regulations and Sentinel policies and procedures
• Ability to communicate in English with individuals, using a mix of verbal and written communication styles.
• Proficiency in data management and all Microsoft Office applications
