Jackson, MS Recruiting Manager

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading a truck driver recruiting department and consistently achieving hiring goals.  This is a highly visible position and requires the ability to manage, lead and train recruiters and maintain the department's focus on the tasks and behaviors that result in success.  Excellent communication skills, ability to motivate and lead others and strong work ethic required.  High energy, positive and enthusiastic.  Strong computer and internet skills and familiarity. 

Job Description:

* Oversee daily operations of all Driver Recruiting personnel

* Strategize in sourcing new candidates

* Coordinates all advertising efforts

* Coordinates all recruiting events and job fairs 

* Oversee integrity of hiring processes

* Assists recruiters with phone calls, processing applications, driver orientation and advice as needed

* Ensure compliance with D.O.T. and company standards

Requirements:

* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

* Understanding of human resources and hiring requirements including Fair Credit Reporting Act

* Transportation/trucking experience helpful but not required

* Recruiting experience required

* Prior Management or Leadership experience

* Prior Computer and professional phone skills
